About Us
The purpose of 671 Metric Unit is to have fun as a rider "as a group" and to practice the safety of riding. Our focus is to give our island a different image about sport bike riders. That we are safe riders that are not wreckless and endangering other motorists on our roads. Our goal is to give back to our island/ community in every way we can. And we go by the following:
a)Wear Protective Gear
b)Ride within your limits
c)Each member is a family member
d)Creating and finding ways to help give back to our community
Our club is open to male and female riders, riders of every ethnicity and people from many different walks of life and life experiences. Our belief in having members from a large age range is not just a belief rooted in the idea that the young can learn from the older or that the young can provide fresh energy and enthusiasm. It is both of these ideas and more. It is also an idea rooted in the belief that we all can learn something from each other and contribute something to the growth of one another no matter what our age or what the nature of our life experience.
The 671 Metric Unit was created to help give back to the community and to unite each club as one. Each selfless service that the Metric Unit volunteers for is open to anyone and everyone, the more the merrier. Our organization is not based on numbers, instead, we strive to attain quality, maturity, and professionalism amongst our members!
We volunteer not for the glory nor the publicity but to show the community that Sportbike riders is not just about breezing through traffic or creating mishief around the villages, it is to show that we as a motorcycle community can give back as a whole!
Join us on our rides, get to know everybody and see how we ride on the streets. If you like it, there is a $20.00 fee for membership and with this you will get a T-shirt of your size and a club sticker for your bike. We also have our club Sweaters for $36.00 if youd like to get one.
